Congratulations to Wendy and all the Cafe team at Downside Community Centre. Today they had an unannounced Environmental Health visit and they were consequently awarded 5 STARS for hygiene. Up there with the very best. Even more reason to use this community facility.
Our community cafe is open from 9am to 3pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It provides freshly-prepared, wholesome food at affordable prices whilst also acting as a social hub for the neighbourhood.
Teas and coffees are just £2 a mug. A slice of cake is £2. A full English breakfast with hot drink costs £9 and there are plenty of other choices from sandwiches / baguettes to salads, burgers, jacket potatoes and omlettes.
