Congratulations to Wendy and all the Isobel Cafe team at Downside Community Centre. Today they had an unannounced Environmental Health visit and they were consequently awarded 5 STARS for hygiene. Up there with the very best. Even more reason to use this community facility.
Our community cafe is open from 9 am to 3 pm each weekday from Tuesday to Friday. It provides freshly-prepared, wholesome food at affordable prices whilst also acting as a social hub for the neighbourhood.
Teas and coffees are just £1 a mug. A slice of cake is £1.50. A full English breakfast costs £7.50 and there are plenty of other choices from sandwiches / baguettes to salads, burgers, jacket potatoes and omlettes. Each Thursday lunchtime we offer a special.
